The game caters to multiple playstyles, close ranged melee combat, guns, stealth, bow & projectiles, or you can simply just run and hide.When the sanity drops, there’s a random chance you will trigger a haunting, which is also randomized, and creepy. The sanity system adds a layer of randomized psychological horror scares to the game, there’s “sanity emitters” scattered through the world which have a random chance of turning on and playing a random creepy sound, when close, these will drain your sanity rapidly, or if you stare at an enemy long enough, it will drain your sanity, each enemy has a different drain rate.Each enemy will have different combat behaviors, making the player adjust his strategy and loadout. The combat takes skill and it has depth, having melee and ranged combat (Similar to Dead Island/Dying Light).
